It depends on the make, model, year, kilometres and condition. Most cars we buy land somewhere between $100 and $20,000, but here's the part that matters: because we repair cars in our own workshop, we assess the whole vehicle, not just the fault. A damaged late-model car might be worth thousands; an old non-runner might be worth hundreds. The fastest way to a real number is a free quote. It takes minutes and there's no obligation.
Yes. All the time. Expired rego, no rego, no roadworthy: none of it stops us buying your car. You can't legally drive an unregistered car to us, which is exactly why we pick it up for free. We also handle the notice of disposal so it's officially out of your name.
Yes, both kinds. Repairable write-offs can return to the road after repairs and inspection, and statutory write-offs still carry genuine value in parts and materials. Tell us what the insurer said and we'll give you a straight price for what you've got.
No. You don't need a roadworthy, a pink slip, or current registration to sell to us. We buy cars exactly as they sit.
Same-day pickup is available across most of Greater Sydney when you contact us early in the day and accept your quote by early afternoon. Otherwise, we'll book the earliest slot that suits you, and we turn up when we say we will. Regional NSW pickups are arranged case by case.
On the spot, before the car leaves. Payment is by bank transfer with a receipt: in NSW, scrap metal dealers are prohibited from paying cash for scrap metal, including vehicles bought as scrap, so the transfer leaves a clear record for you. No cheques, no waiting periods, no "processing time."
From you: photo ID and proof the car is yours (rego papers, or other documents if it's unregistered. We'll tell you what works). From us: everything else. We submit the Notice of Disposal to Transport for NSW, complete the transfer paperwork with you at pickup, and give you a written record of the sale.

That's fine. A large share of what we buy doesn't start. Engine dead, battery flat, gearbox gone, sitting in the garage for two years: our tow truck handles it and pickup is still free. Just tell us it doesn't run in the quote form so we bring the right truck.
Yes, but we'll need the right documentation. Proof of ownership in their name plus their authorisation (and ID) for you to sell it. If the owner is deceased, overseas, or unable to sign, call us first. We handle these situations regularly and will tell you exactly what's needed before we book anything.
It comes to our own Kemps Creek workshop. Cars worth repairing are repaired by our team, mechanical, bodywork, electrical, and returned to the road. Cars that are genuinely end-of-life are dismantled properly, with usable parts recovered and the rest recycled responsibly.
